Okay, I confess that the photo was taken outside of the Old Book Sale instead of the Perdue Do, and the box and the bag are full of books. The book sale was a fine event even if it did give me an allergic attack that put me in bed the next day. Not kidding. I bought and read an ancient, falling apart copy of The Boys from Brazil which I held close to my face in bed because the print was so small, and I breathed in 30-year-old book dust and dehydrated book spine glue. The book was dying and disintegrating as I read it.The next day I had headaches and sneezes and itchy coughs and my lips felt like they had gone to sleep. I recovered with the aid of antihistamines and sleep.
(The book only cost a dime)

Here's the thing I don't understand about meth because I saw the fat boys program. It seems to me that anybody smart enough to make that stuff without getting blown up or poisoned in the process ought to be smart enough to do something else for a living.
