Good grief!

For days I've been watching people rioting and setting fires around the world over some cartoons, which are not, of course, being shown on television. So I went looking for the cartoons and it took QUITE a while, but I actually found them on a link from Belief.net. If you want to see what all the commotion is about, proceed.

Comments:
Yeah, if the Danish paper had just said they were cartoons of some guy named Mohammad, there would be no fuss. There is nothing about them (except maybe in the Danish I can't read) that says Mohammad the prophet.

at least their country can get upset about something. we sit here allowing the usa to snoop in our e-mails, dump most of our civil rights in the name of homeland security, and tell us that a military id isn't a sufficient identification to vote for mayor of wr. go figure!! it is any wonder than 1 out of every 6 adult citizens of georgia is either jailed, on parole, or on probation??

I have a deep conviction that very few of the rioters have even seen the cartoons. If you watch the footage closely you'll see that most of them are young guys having a real good time. Fortunately for Denmark, they're tearing up things in their own country and aren't going to invade. Rioters seldom seem to have transportation. When the people in Newark got angry, for example, they didn't jump in their cars and go tear up Montclair. They tore up their own place.

Hey, you don't understand about the Voter ID thing. That's to keep terrorists and illegal aliens from voting in our SPLOST referenda. You can't be too careful when you have a tradition of 17 percent voter turnout.
And if they're reading your e-mail, it's because you might be an Islamic Jihadist in disguise. (Ihave had days when I wouldn't have minded covering myself completely with black cloth.)

i try to sprinkle an occasional e-mail with some target words just to see if they will come get me. i like to think i would be like the ransom of red chief.:):)
